We did Ted Ed riddles today (the bridge riddle, passcode riddle, dark coin riddle, and virus riddle). At the end of class, students were given a handout to do practice over the winter break.
We did some review of adding and subtracting polynomials on whiteboards today.

Puzzle 23: Sequencing Cards
We did some review before the quiz today. Quiz 3 completed today. We also went to a holiday celebration at the foods room.

Today we looked at subtracting polynomials. We discussed that subtraction is like adding the opposite of the polynomial being subtracted. Students have time to work on a worksheet, which we will go through next class.

Today we used algebra tiles to model more addition examples. And then, we talked about what is opposite of a polynomials and how it is related to doing polynomials subtraction.
