We looked at dividing monomials today, using whiteboards. We looked at how to read the model and also work algebraically.
Practice: Chapter 7.1 Page 260 # 3, 4, 7, 9, 11, 12, 15 - 18 No puzzle or numeracy task. We reviewed exponent laws for multiplying and the looked at multiplying monomials by monomials (using model and algebraically).

We review the polynomial chapter (Chapter 5) in preparation for the test next Tuesday. We went through the definitions again, reviewed add and subtraction, as well as modelling with algebra tiles.
